How do you delete your Snapchat account step by step?
Use Snapchat’s own domains. Type them. Do not follow a text that says your Memories will be posted unless you “verify.”
1. Sign in on the official app from your phone’s real app store, or at accounts.snapchat.com in a browser on a device you trust.
2. Download My Data if you might want Memories, chat lists, or login history. Settings → My Account → My Data. Wait for the email. Store the archive privately.
3. Unlink connected apps and review Login Verification / 2FA so you still control the process.
4. Settings → My Account → Delete Account (wording moves; look for Delete, not only Deactivate). Snapchat will warn about Memories and usernames.
5. Confirm with your password. Complete any email or SMS check.
6. Stay out of Snapchat until the waiting period ends. Opening the app is how people cancel deletion by accident.
